AI for the People started talking with AI Lund in the spring of 2021 in order to share experiences and learn from each other. AI for the People hosted a seminar in May 2022 at AAU-CPH where the two parties spent a day together and formulated a concrete collaboration agreement. Among other things this includes yearly meetings between the two steering committees. In November 2022 we therefore visited AI Lund. During the visit, AI for the People participated in events on robotics and AI as well as discussed further possible avenues of collaboration with AI Lund.
AI Lund co-organized a "Nordic AI popup event" on robots with Skånemotor. The event consisted of short presentations on robots and human-robot interaction as well as a panel discussions with researchers from psychology, cognition, robotics, and human-robot interaction. Our own robotics expert Simon Bøgh participated in the panel discussions. The event was live-streamed on YouTube and can be found here
