Understanding Product Lifecycles through Consumer Perception Modeling
Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to build a data‑driven understanding of why consumers replace or retain products across fashion, furniture, and electronics. Through multimodal AI models trained on user demographics, product attributes, emotional attachment, and images, the project will predict EOL choices and reveal what contributes to long‑lasting or frequently replaced products. These findings will support more sustainable design practices and form the basis for a growing, open “living data repository.”
