Animal Behavioral Analysis using AI
Purpose:
Understanding animal behavior today requires manual annotations. The aim of this Bridging project is to investigate how to develop an intelligent camera system that uses machine learning to automatically collect and analyze behavioral data of animals in the zoo. A system such as this would revolutionize the field of animal behavior by significantly reducing the time needed to conduct behavioral studies and eliminating current biases. The starting point will be a single species, e.g., tigers.
