Purpose:
AI algorithms now have the ability to recognize content in images – for example, does an image contain a person, text or a landscape. Such information can be very useful for example when analyzing the content of webpages across time or what people post images of during major events such as the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. To this end, we will in this Bridging project implement an easy-to-use image recognition framework that will directly benefit the immediate research needs in two involved research groups from HUM. Going forward, the framework will allow the research groups to train and adapt the algorithm for future usages.
